On the MIDEM website is the notice that the event has been cancelled due to CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) concerns.

"Due to continued concerns associated with the CORONAVIRUS, MIDEM 2020, scheduled to take place JUNE 2-5, in CANNES, has been cancelled," MIDEM wrote. "The next edition of MIDEM is programmed for JUNE 1-4, 2021, in CANNES.

“In the rapidly-evolving context and with the various government guidelines on travel, public gatherings and home confinement, coupled with companies’ concerns for their staff, holding Midem in June is simply not possible,” sai, MIDEM Director ALEXANDRE DENIOT.
